Changing bearings 2001 Kia Sportage 2WD.

Anybody have instructions for changing the front wheel bearings on the 2001 KIA Sportage 2WD? I went to Big O to get an alignment and they want about 240 dollars to change bearings and align wheels. I went to Autozone and the bearings are only 23 dollars. If it is not ridiculously hard I wouldn't mind doing it myself.

Re: Changing bearings 2001 Kia Sportage 2WD.

I have not found anything specific to the 2WD on www.kiatechinfo.com but anyway take a look at this
www.geocities.com/lmp4203/kiasport/bearing.pdf
Normally with 2WD the bearing comes with the hub so all of that seems like an overkill....

Thanks for the reply. I will print this out and see if it helps when I go to work on it.
