Power window problem on a 92 park avenue

Just the other day my front driver side winow decided to quit working. It won't roll up, but it will still go down without a problem. Is the window motor bad? How do I go about taking off the door panel in order to replace the window motor?

Sounds to me like your switch is going out. The contacts for the up position make be worn or dirty. The switch panel in your armrest can be removed by prying it out in the front (facing front of car) with a small standard screwdriver. Underneath, the switch can be removed and tested.

How do you go about testing it?

what you could do is remove the current switch and swap it out with one of the others. If your window works properly after that, then you pretty much narrowed it down. If you have a voltmeter you can test the switch with it. You can also take the switch to most auto parts stores and they'll test it for free.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'll have to try that later today. Is it easy to swap out the switch to test another one in its place?

The switches easily unclip with a small screwdriver, it's not difficult to do.
