i know frank from the 'real world'

last night i was watching the real world on mtv for some reason, i never saw the show before but i was bored. here frank is from a town about 8 miles from my house, and a buddy of mine and i go there to hang out at some of the bars on weekends sometimes. in the show he said how small his town is - and i go to his town for something to do, what does that say about mine? anyway one night we left the bar and went next door to get some pizza, and this was the pizza place that his dad owns. here i have been eating there for a long time and he is the one who serves us. just thought i would get that out there. he got screwed on the first episode, he definitely should have gotten that girl.

Well if you ever saw the London Real World, I know Mike Johnson, the american race car driver. He's a pretty cool guy.

There ain't nothing real about the "real world".

I hate that show... It's just a bunch of snobby kids that live in a beautiful house/loft/whatever that is lavishly furnished with stuff they could never afford for themselves in the real world. And none of them seem to have jobs other than the ones set up by the producers of the show, and even those jobs wouldn't pay enough to afford the house/furnishings, and none of them take those jobs seriously enough to excell within them. The rest of it is just some high-school drama about who's "doing" who, or some other sophmoric behavior... What a waste of time. I'd say that all the "reality" shows are everything but...

Its good to hear that you're not sour about it or anything

The girl Julie from New Orleans, the Mormon one, went to the same college that I go to now, up until she got kicked out. I don't know if she goes there now but I saw her at Taco bell, man she is fugly

I guess I'm just sour cuz I remember the days when MTV actually played MUSIC VIDEOS now and then! It seems that the only thing you get on MTV is anything but music television.

yep there are 6 lights through the middle of town and that's it. there are a couple along a highway that runs by the town, but only 6 in town. bucknell university is the only thing that gives the town any size at all i think.

thats nothing! Where I lived in Hawaii there wasn't a stoplight within about a 30 mile radius, but they put one up by the highschool because people kept gettin hit. There still isn't one in that town that I know of.

yeah i don't have any lights in the town that i live in or within quite a few miles from me either. just last year we got our first 4 way stop signs for the same reason, people would run the 2 that were there all the time. i guess they said our town population was too low for a red light or something.
