Need Replacement Light

I have a 1998 Buick Skylark. I was pulled over the other day with a warning due a light out in the back. Not sure what the light is officially called... taillamp, backup lamp trunk lid lamp, turn signal etc.... manual is no help to me or the guy in the auto dept at wal-mart. I've been to the store twice and have been given the wrong replacements...
My problem is with the lid that is on the trunk lid itself.... ???
Any one out there that can help me out with this?
Thanks, I'd really appreciate it.

Re: Need Replacement Light

Welcome to AF.

What specific light(s) was out. What did the warning say? On a '98 Skylark the taillights such as stop and turn signal lamps are AC Delco L3057 or any suitable replacement like Sylvania 3057. But the 3157 took the place of 3057 and is fully compatible. The license plate lamp is L194. Any other rear running lamps are probably the mini-lamp L194.
