What turbo on a B20b/B16 head all stock ?
Hey
Im putting a B20b with a B16a head in my accord with a b16 or b18 trans. What turbo and how much boost can i run on ALL STOCK parts ? I know im a nOOb to turbos, but not to cars. I will EVENTUALLY build up internals and everythign else, but for a daiyl driver on pump gas on stock engine and head (well i added vtec) what is the best setup to run ? Jordan aim-Whiteboyinjersey

DAMN DOG!!!!
sorry to spoil your plans but you can't put a b series motor in an accord. you can only put h series or f series. :smoker2:

crvtec.com has some info on the b20 engine. but try to stay under 7-8 psi of boost on a stock engine.

What's wrong with the motor in your car right now?
I mean, if your going to the trouble of building that engine you might as well build it outside of the car and wait until you have all the parts and do it once. It's much easier to do internal work if the block is in a stand and not in a chasis. If you can why don't you drive on the old motor for now until its all ready... Save the time/money/trouble...

Tatsuro Ichisima (The guy that owns Spoon Sports) says, "Idon't understand why people want to so this. (B20 block to VTEC head) There is a small cult following in Japan on the same swap, but are basically spending alot of money and going home crying. The B20 crank in a B18 (or B16) would have problems because the engines sleeve already has a vibration problem at the sleeves with the original crank. The B20 crank causes even more vibration. If the engine were onle revved up to 5000 rpm, it would be fine, but when you get up to 8000 to 9000 rpm, warping will start to occur. Again, this is a problem that occurs even with the original crank." Enough said. Peace
