What ecu are you using? if you are running an SI or 88-89 integ ecu this is a common problem with ZCs bogging or having a flat spot during low RPMs.

hi,
we are using the ecu out of a 91 civic si that we got about a week ago and it still does the same thing (bogging) i think it may be the timing but i cannot find anywhere the procedure for timing this motor with a timing light.

PM7 is the original JDM ZC ECU. this will give best results. Or you can use your SI ecu if you chip it. Alot of people just chip their SI ecu.
