Mclaren vs Fiat Panda

Hello!

I'm new here. I'd like give link:
http://www.evo.co.uk

Today I saw small video about McLaren F1 vs Fiat Panda 4x4. Second car (Fiat) is produced in my country (Poland) and its very popular and cheapest car It cost about 12k $.
Acceleration 0-100km/h is about: 20s
Top speed: 145km/h

I'd like send greetings for You. I often read here.. The best car of course is McLaren

Best regards
PaulPL

Oh, damn it, I was rooting for the Panda.

Nice video, but it's a shame the McLaren was shown in PIP.

A non-PIP version of the F1 lap is here if you have not seen it:

Actually, I hadn't seen it. I clicked on the link (the first one) and forgot to explore the site. So thanks for the link for the non-PIP video.

Just a question, now: "May I remind you that the chassis stinks, it has no downforce, and the brakes don't work. But it's got a good engine!". He's kidding, right?

Re: Mclaren vs Fiat Panda

That's the owner talking. He's probably kidding, but the car still ended up besting the Enzo by a tenth of a second over the lap.

That's an exaggeration of the F1's design flaws according to most people who have driven it.) The chassis comment being about the compliant suspension (compared to newer cars); that the standard aerodynamics don't work as well as the HDF kit does (or compared to an Enzo); and the brakes which do stop the car, but which don't compare to carbon-ceramic brakes of 10 years later.

Re: Mclaren vs Fiat Panda

I recently saw a Top Gear rport by Mr Clarkson comparing the 80's & 90's supercars compared to this century's offerings and said there has been little progress in performance but more on usability. He then went on to say the best was still the F40 while absolutely slating our beloved Mac as being a scary death trap with a very skittish chassis that was all to eager to send you to your maker. I'm sure our Mr Bridger would love to comment on this having disposed of his Enzo yet keeping his GTR.
