Z24 no power

at 3pm today I got in my car it started fine no problem well after work I tried to start the car it took a bit to start when it was going it felt like it was running on 2 cylinders the engine light came on then it would flash anyone know what it could be?

You have a code set since you got the engine light coming on. You can get it scanned for free at most auto parts stores. Have the code checked and post it back on here and we'll be able to narrow the problem down from there.

What year is it? If it's flashing that means there is a misfire that's bad enough to potentially harm the cat.

I took it in so when they phone telling me whats up I'll post it back here but it feels like it's only runnin on 2 cylinders

Well if they don't find anything you could try some stuff:

Make sure there is spark in all four cylinders. If only in two, you can switch the coils with each other to see if the no spark condition follows the coils. If it does-need a coil pack. If it stays, could be an ignition control module. If you have an advance auto parts near you, they will check these for you for free. I don't know what other auto stores do in this case though. Anyways, good luck.
