95 monte carlo z34 acceleration problems

Hello, I am having trouble with my 95 monte carlo z34 as of late. It has lost a lot of power and is very hard to go up hills. It drives fine in town, but when going around 60, it chugs every once in awhile and if i press on the gas to get it to go, the check engine light comes on and the car still barely gains any speed. It also has been shaking when stopped at lights. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you checked the code from the check engine light?
