Radiator Cap
Have a 96 Buick Park Avenue. Is there some trick to removing the radiator cap? I have pushed down and turned. It turns maybe a quarter turn, but it still won't come off. What do I need to do to remove the cap?

Re: Radiator Cap
Just like you said...push and turn. After turning, try pulling up a little more, it could just be getting caught.

Re: Radiator Cap
It should spin some more. It takes a bit of force pushing down on it sometimes though. When you do get your cap off, check the rubber seals and if they are cracked or worn then its time for a new radiator cap. I think you're supposed to change them out every 2 years too but I usually ignore them until they get nasty.
