Re: Question about transmissions?

I have no clue what the H2A8 one is, but out of the other 2 I would say the M2S4. My friend has had 3 transmissions on his turbo'd h22a Civic; jdm h22a w/lsd (unfortunately the lsd blew apart and popped a hole in the housing), an H23 one, and an F22b (not sure if it was the ex or dx model). But he seems to like the F22b one the best. He said the H22a one had way too short of gears for boost, constantly shifting.

Re: Question about transmissions?

I think i said this before in another thread but i've never heard of an h2a8

of the other two it depends on if you want higher top speed or faster acceleration.

the m2s4 out of the 4th gen si gearing is...

1-3.307
2-1.857
3-1.320
4-1.034
5-0.812
FD-4.266

the m2f4 out of the 4th gen vtec gearing is...

1-3.307
2-1.950
3-1.360
4-1.071
5-0.870
FD-4.266

also if you want an lsd just get a quaife ATB diff and throw it in your trannyits about $1000 and will help deliver your turbo power to the ground
