99 Concorde...need help

First of all thanks for viewing the ad. I recently bought a 99 concorde that was said to only need a wheel alignment. Well I bought 4 yokohama as430 and had a alignment and balancing done. The problem is that after all that I have a toned down version of the initial problem which is that at x-way speeds the steering wheel begins to agiatate like the wheel is hopping. Now if I take my foot of the accelerator at the same speed the car coast pretty well. That leads me to believe that its not the tires. But if I re-accelerate at already high speeds the steering wheel will jerk as if the trans is dragging and continue to do this until I let offthe accelerator. The handling is perfect doing city driving. The trans shifts through the gears fine. One more thing the car was hit in the front passenger side bending a part of the strut. My cousin bent the piece back and the handling bacame a little better. So I'm thinking maybe I should replace that strut and that would cure the problem. Also there is a small nail in the rear drivers side tire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

make sure you tie rod end bushings are ok, lift front wheels and check tire play laterally and vertically. I have also noted that a bad axle may do this good luck.

Wink Re: 99 Concorde...need help

Just drove it again and noticed that above 40, if I cut the wheel the front end shakes. More when I cut the wheel to the passenger side. I'm taking it to some front end specialists tommorow though. thanks for the replys
