hard starting 94 maxima

The only way I can start my maxima is by pushing down on the gas . I have changed all injectors and still have problem . It just started getting worse and worse. Also I noticed when it turns over it will just stop cranking and I have to tap ignition for 5 minutes to get it to turn over again. Almost like the cylinder was filled with gas and stops the piston instantly. Now engine check lite is on and it runs a little rough . Please help!!!

Re: hard starting 94 maxima

also when trying to start an engine, that puts a lot of strain on the battery, if you keep turning and turning and turning, you consicently drain part of the battery, this could be part of the problem, it may also be a clogged air filter. some of your sensors might be starting to fail. (eg) bad electronic sensor, a bad mass air flow sensor, ect.

Hope this helps
