my noobly yamaha YZF R-1

got this done bout 2 weeks ago... havent got a chance to upload pics, but now i do my second bike model. first one was a hayabusa... but i ruined it so i put all my hope into this one. well, the gas tank got a major mess up because paint got smudged and dust fell on it, so i strip the whole thing down and repainted it thats why there is the ulgy mold line on it... anyhow, let me know where you think i can improve on and any critism is fine.
thanks!

plus a destop picture shot by me in Tourist Trophy video game on ps2, hope you like it

Wow, not really much to critique you on. It looks great! The only suggestions I can make are that you could've used some putty between the tank halves (but you know that), and in the places where you deleted parts like the mirrors and turn signals. Otherwise, a little detail painting and call outs, like on the bolts that hold the front fender on the fork, and it would be stunning! Your paint work looks great and the whole build is super clean. Just keep building and trying new things - the detail will come to you. You've already got the hang of the hard parts! Great work!

Re: my noobly yamaha YZF R-1

So, it's finished! Red is such a great color on a bike. Is that Mica Red or what paint have you been using? I too would have puttied the holes for turn signals and mirrors if those aren't to be added. In my opinion the bike would look better with the mirrors on, they add to the design of the bike. I can't tell from the brake discs if you have drilled out the holes in them, that adds to realism. other than that I'd go with Willimo and add details little by little as you move along. Bolts and rivets are easy to mark and some detailing to the chain would look great,
Keep it up!
Joel
