88 Honda Prelude Alternator problem
I have a 1988 Honda Prelude that worked fine over the summer and now that the winter has hit full force, the car cuts out when I drive....my battery light flashes on and off and then stays on and the lights dim really low and then my car will cut out when I am driving....so I get a jump from another car and then my car works fine.....but when it has been siting for a while, it wont start up again...the battery is totally dead. What is the problem? Is it the alternator? Please help!!! You can reply to me on here but if you want to reach me faster then email me at [email protected].
Thanx guys! |

Have you tested the battery to make sure it's good? A while back I had an alternator go bad at the alternator connection on my 84 Lude. When I would jiggle the connector it would charge then not. Check that out too. Good luck!
