which size sounds better
like the title says which size sounds better. They are going in the back so remeber that.

What vehicle i would just replace with the stock size, if not then go with 6.5, supposed to be the best for mid-bass, and higher frequencies, below 15k hz

Cant remember who posted it but if you see it give yourself credit Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |

I have 6.5's.
for the oval shaped speaks (5x7, 6x9), odd geometry makes it more prone to distorting.

yeah, i have cheap components in the rear, purely for the passangers in the back. if you're spending a good amount of cash, keep it for front-stage.

well, it will take away from your front stage .... but personally, I would go with a 6X9 or 6 1/2 coaxial

Have you looked into mbquarts, if not then any of them, i like polk speakers especially there house equipment. But i love my mbquart speakers.

well, you might be able to get a decent amount of bass from them if the trunk is pretty well sealed from the passenger compartment. You just need to use speakers that are designed for IB.
