HELP!!!!! car starting problems....and NO it's not the "main relay" type

everytime i start my car, it sounds bad, and it shakes and jerks, even when i put it into gear (automatic)........then when i take off it smoothes out .....fucking weird shit!!!! it started happening after i began putting stp octane booster in my car after every fill up......does this type of problem sound familar? anybody know what the problem is???????

This sounds as if the timing belt jumped I would check that or have it checked.

check to make sure you have oil. you might have a vaccum leak somewhere. also i get the same thing sometimes when after its raining and there water in my intake, so has it been raining recently ?

ok i'll check the timing belt, and i just had an oil change a month ago, what is this vacume leak thing? and no not really alot of rain, plus i have a stock intake

well is it really cold where you live, because maybe not rain but any type of condensation that would form in the inake would make the car run like that.

like your car uses a vaccum for some things, and especially in older cars, the hoses crack and leak. Lots are guys are driving around with vaccum leaks and they dont even know it. vaccum leaks usually means lost of power, which would make your car idle funny.

but it could be the timing belt so make sure you inspect it good, its kinda hard to see it if i just jumped one notch, so inspect good
