Oil Life reset?

I just had my first oil change on my new (new to me) '06 Malibu and I thought the Oil Life indicator would reset back to 100% but it hasn't. When I bought the car used it didnt come with the owners manual so I am completely in the dark. Please help it's annoying as hell! Thanx!

Turn the key on, no start, step on the gas pedal 3x to the floor in rapid succession, oil lite should flash and reset.

If its the Epsilon Chassis, (Z-Body)

On your radio, press "MENU" until RESET OIL LIFE appears. Press the Arrow (return key) for 10 secs.

"OIL ACKNOWLEDGED"
Appears on the screen. The system is now reset.
