CEL. secondary air injection

check engine light is on, code read is the secondary air injection monitor circuit low input. its a 99 ford taurus 113k miles 3.0 v6 ffv(flex fuel vehicle) i took it to a mechanic he said that same thing on his computer then looked through the car to see if it had one and it looks to be that there isnt one. if there is one where would it be?

I'm thinking the pump is located in one of the front fenders near the bumper, not sure which side.. also I believe there may be some issues with water in these pumps which ruins them.. there is a diagnostic procedure to follow in the factory manual.. some vehicles had certain parts, some have others...

Yep, the service manual shows that it would be in the area described by TaurusKing. The factory suggests changing it with the car on a hoist.
