Door panel and turn signal questions

Ive got a 94 cavalier 2 door. First of all before i got it someone broke in on the passenger side by prying the lock out. So i need to get the door panel off so i can fix the metal so the lcok will stay in. ANY tips? Next the turn signal seem to blink and click at a rather slow sometimes unsteady rate.... Is this due to old age or something else? It does it both directions. Thanks for any advice! Derek
