Unhappy 1999 mazda 626 transmission filter location

help!!!! can anyone please tell me where the transmission filter on a 1999 mazda 626 is located. can't find it anywhere. bought the manual and can't find it in there either!!!

Welcome on your first post.
The automatic 99 Mazda 626 does not have one.
Just drain the transmission drain plug and refill.

thank you so much. work on my car came to a grinding halt because he couldn't find it. now could you please tell me where that transmission plug is located. thank you.

If it has a transmission oil pan it should be on it but if no transmission oil pan sorry I can not help.
But the manual may show something. Good luck.

it's a hex head plug located on the bottom of the trans, towards the middle. just to the side of the crossmember.

If you plan on draining the fluid w/o using a total transfer machine, good luck. I had to take the pan off
