Question Lease Rate/List Price for DX-G

Hey guys,

I have been looking for a new car to lease for a while, I narrowed it down to A Civic DX-G (all canadian models) Toyota Corolla CE w B package, and Nissan Sentra 2.0s. I am really leaning towards the Civic, wow what a well built little (but spacious) rocket ship!!!! Anyhow, to get on with it...I'm in CANADA, so can anyone tell me what is about the lowest lease rate that would be going on an '07 model Civic DX-G in in the great white north? (actually not so white this winter) I'm wanting to buy within the next month or two for sure, but want to know if Honda would likely be coming out with some solid deals in the winter months like 1.9 or 2.9% lease rates or what ever. So if anyone is familiar with the trend on when they do specials like that this would be great info. Also can anyone tell me what the dealers list price is for this model in Canadian funds?

Thanks a bunch and when I get my Civi I will be posting some pics!!!

Jon H.

Re: Lease Rate/List Price for DX-G

Hey Canada. I'll start of by saying I am not to familiar with Canada and there incentives. I'm am also not too sure how many Canadians we have in this section but I will try and provide you with some useful information. Usually Honda has there year end celebration that just passed where they have the most attractive lease rates and lowest finance rates. B4 that time of there year usually around mid October, Honda also has great incentives usually 0% on new models. I know this past year the last quart Honda did not have good lease rates on the new Civic. It was actually cheaper to Finance the Civic then actually lease one. I ended up leasing an Accord because it was also cheaper than leasing a Civic. Out of the 3 models you listed I have to say the Civic is the best value overall. Will you be getting the coupe or sedan sometimes that will also affect you lease rates. A few guys in here just bought new ones I am sure they will be able to provide you with there rates and prices.

Re: Lease Rate/List Price for DX-G

We picked up an 06 in December, the rates were pretty good (3.9 finance) so I don't know if they'll be that good again in the next few months. You should be able to get list price off the honda website, and there is a website out there that will tell you dealer cost for about $40, but I don't recall the url at the moment.
