Main Relay Location

Where is my main fuel relay located in my 1989 Honda Civic DX 4 dr sedan? I was told under the dash next to the fuse box. If I remove my coin holder its right there. How would I remove it?

I show the PGM-FI main relay.
Below left side dash above hood release lever.
Relays just pull out and plug in.
Some are a little tight so pull a little to one side and then the other.
Good Luck

Well, I bought the WHOLE fuse thingy, lol. Then I just took the 2 relays off *didnt no if it was the small one or the big one* and put them in. And now it seems to be fine. I took it down the street and hammered on it. Brought it back and restarted it and it started *it wouldnt before* So I think Im good now.

Re: Main Relay Location

While I was there I picked up a set of used clear bumper signels, there a little faded with a crack on one of them. But there better then the stock yellow markers.

Ok, problem. My car wont start again, its doing the same thing it did before I replaced the relay. Is it the relay? Or is it sumting else? Heres a picture of the relays in my car, could one of u tell me which one it is, so I can go out and buy a new one.

If you are sure it is the relay drop by your dealer parts dept and get a new one.
And match the no on old one for what one it is.
But I would do a little testing while it is in a no start mode.
Is the fuel pump firing up?
Got spark?
Got 12 volts power to injector?

Good luck.
But as said when it no start is a good time to test/check things out.
Make sure the fuel pump is getting 12 power and ground.
That main relay feeds power to it.
Saves throwing parts at it.
