My problem is this. I have a 1994 Cutlass Ciera and when I turn the blower switch from off to on it come alive but only blows air out of the vent ducts. I assume that this car has a vaccuum system for that, but I was unable to find a vaccum ball in the engine bay. Does anyone have any information for me? This is a friend of mines car and he has no book. I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

Re: 1994 Cutlass Ciera Heater Switch Problem
Welcome to AF, ball may be tucked up under the lt fender, trace the vacuum lines from the manifold to see where it is.

Re: 1994 Cutlass Ciera Heater Switch Problem
what ball? mine has a single vacuum hose that runs from the intake through the firewall to the back of the climate control, then to the actuator.
But mine is a 92' Ciera with the 3.3.. But I do believe I've seen the same on those 3.1s |

I'm going to go ahead and tryn track down the intake hose going to that area. I looked for a ball even before you posted that and I didn't find one anywhere on his car. Hopefully it will be easy to spot the second time around. Thanks!
