i know about: lightwave 3d, maya 3d and softimage xsi but i just want to know what the best is.

THE best program for animation and modeling is by far 3D-Studio Max

it's what all the video game companies use for modeling..

I'm not quite sure what is the easiest software is but once you get a hang of 3DSM its quite simple and with a little practice, and alot of tutorials it becomes incredibly easy

as far as the easiest though i'm not sure
