Where is the transmission measuring stick?
I know silly question but i
don't ' know where the transmission measuring stick is. I see where i can add transmission fluid is at but i don't see the transmission stick. Help!Its a 2000 grand am 4 cyclinder, automatic. |

unfortunately you have a red or black fill cap correct? If so the only way to check fluid is to pull the 7/16 plug on the passenger side of the car. This plug is located on the trans close the passenger side axle do not over tighten it spec is 78 INCH lbs. With the car running the fluid should come out of the hole when warm and the car is level (so you just cant jack up the front of the car).
