I have a 1996 Cherokee sport 4 door. No Power locks and no power windows
The other day I went to open the rear door from the outside of the vehicle and the button pushed in through the handle and into the door. So now I can't open that door from the outside, it still works from the inside. My question is can that handle be fixed? or do you just replace them when that happens? A new handle is 40-45 bucks at the dealer and an after market is like 20 on ebay. If the orginal can be repaired or rebuilt I would rather save the money. The vehicle is in good shape and the door is not rusted. Thank you for any help opcorn:

Re: 1996 Jeep Cherokee door handle (rear)
It would be simpler to replace it, but if you took it out and inspected it and still have all the pieces, then maybe you can fix it.
