Replacing Side Bulbs

Hi Folks.

I have to replace the side turn signal bulbs on the driver side of my 1997 Aurora (both front and back, actually). I'm assuming I can get to the back through the trunk, but I attempted to get to the front, and it seems that it is going to be trickier than I thought.

I have to replace both the yellow blinker bulb and the white "marker" or "cornering" light (or whatever it is called).

I went so far as to remove the air filter, and then took out the two bolts to the actual air cleaner housing itself and still couldn't get to it from the top.

Do I have to go to it from the wheel well? And does that mean popping out all of the little black screw/rivet things (which surely means I'll break them and have to get new ones, correct?).

I figured before I start tearing off the plastic inside of the wheel well I'd better ask first.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

p.s. 10w40 has fixed the ding-ding-ding low oil pressure problem...

Re: Replacing Side Bulbs

Through the wheel well, easy to do.
Should'nt be a problem with plastic inserts, carefully pull them out & they will be reusable. Pull the cowling back enough to get your hand in and pull out the bulbs.
