03 Trailblazer Front Windshield Wipers

My 03's front windshield wipers and washers just went out.....when I try to use them, I just get a clicking noise. I checked for blown fuses, etc., but not that.

Anyone know of any TSb's or recalls on this problem before I go to the expensive dealer?

I have heard of owners who had WS wiper issues stemming from moisture getting into the wiper motor assembly.

Yea,
In 2002 and 2003 model years, there was an official Recall of the wiper motor assembly. Call up the dealer and verify this, recalls are free repairs even if your standard warrantee is expired -- it's considered a 'defect'.

I had written about this a while back when we first had our recalled wiper motors fixed.

We had ours done, and with the new wiper motor we haven't had any problems since!!
