Fs R34 Skyline Rb25det Neo Full Setup Fs

hey guys I am a newbie so if I am posting this incorrectly let me know so I can correct it.

I just removed the RB25DET NEO engine and tranny from my (01) R34 and I am selling it. This is the Variable Valve Timing engine and is the rarest of Skyline engines in the US. It produces the same HP as the RB26DETT stock at 280hp. The engine was pulled out and the miles are 19K actual miles. The setup will come with the engine, wiring harnesses, alt, a/c compressor, ECU, MAF, Intake air box, intercooler, Transmission, driveshafts, carrier bearing for driveshafts, Transmission ECU, Transmission shifting mechanism including TCS and Tiptronics. Tranny is still hooked up to engine
The price is $4,000, If interested this car is setup now for show and racing and is producing 750 HP to the wheels. It has a prototype VG turbo setup and produces 25PSI at 1300rpm and carries it all the way to rev limit. If you are intersted in one of these turbos I can assist you in that as well.

hit me up if interested. 901-619-2069 Sean

Screwy, well I guess I will have to let the cat a little bit out of the Bag, I will post the test results once we get it on the dyno, I'll run a printout and datalog, it will probably be a few weeks due to the fact I have to put in the rollcage and stabalizers so it doesnt twist the chassis and crack any windows.

Re: Fs R34 Skyline Rb25det Neo Full Setup Fs

Oh I think I'll hit you up. Right upside your head.

First off the RB25DET NEO engine produces a mild 265hp in manual form and 255hp with the tiptronic. I've seen enough of these cars time and time again on a dyno. Peak hp is generally around 5,500 rpm.

R34 GTR and GTR Vspec produce on normal 288-295hp factory standard.

GTR Vspec II around 300, and the NUR spec 325hp.

Ok enough of the Skyline Tech. Lets look at the VG turbos. Even bored out and fitted with larger wheels, they are incapable of flowing more than 470hp. the housings are just too small.
Assuming you fit a VG30 engine into the engine bay ( I have no idea why the hell anyone would do that in the first place ) it becomes a wiring nightmare. Not to mention making your factory gauges work properly.

Now lets get to the heart and soul of this post. You are stating you have this R34 GTT. You're profile states you live in Tennesee. Umm hello McFly *knock*knock*. How the hell did you manage to bring in a car that DOT has put on a ban list ?

You sir are, oh how should I put it? FULL OF SHIT .

Re: Fs R34 Skyline Rb25det Neo Full Setup Fs

Ok, now for the comments regarding the stupid ass, There are only a couple of GTT R34s in the country and if you have seen several on the dyno then I guess you are from Japan, however I have the only (01) R34 GTT in the country that I know of and trust me I looked for a long time before I bought this one, oh and I have had a couple of skylines and sivias, and yes it was imported correctly out of CA 3 years ago before the NHSTA cracked down on skylines. The HP from the Factory is rated at 280HP on the (01) and the GTR is rated from the factory at the same HP, from my experience on the dyno the GTR puts out a little over 300HP and the Neo puts out a little under the 280 hp mark so piss off on that issue. not to be rude or anything since you have shown me nothing but love.

The other issue would be the VG turbo setup, only a dumbass would make a comment like that. Do a little bit of research before posting comments that make you look stupid. The VG turbo is not from the VG30. The (PROTOTYPE) Turbo developed by CTT which I work for is a Variable Geometry Turbo. The turbo is larger than the GT4276 can produce more air flow and spool very very early, its about the size of the T88, yeh its kinda big in diameter but very effective, the exhaust side is where the VG technology takes place. The Exhaust side has a sliding nozzle that closes off the exhaust port over a certain area and makes the turbo act like a very small turbo in which this is why it spools so early in the cycle. We have not tested it yet on the RB26 but will be tested fully by the end of Feb, in larger engines it spooled completely at 1300rpm. Once the manifold is done and I get the turbo mounted and the roll cage in I will put the R34 on the dyno and see what it can do with the Built RB26.
Guys please dont put negative comments on this, just wait for the results and then if you would like to purchase one of these turbos I will work with you on price and application and can provide you a little more details on how it works. Then put either pos or neg comments from the results.

Re: Fs R34 Skyline Rb25det Neo Full Setup Fs

I want to see sheets and proof!

FYI ~ A guy in the next town over has a bone stock R34 GT-T white with nismo rims and also an NUR spec exhaust. I rubbed my eyes a couple of times but it was real. There are alot of skylines on long Island trust me your not the only one.

Re: Fs R34 Skyline Rb25det Neo Full Setup Fs

The comment I made was I have the only 2001 R34GTT, I know there are a lot of Skylines in the country, I have seen some 2000 models but not an (01GTT), the White one in Long Island probably came from fast4wheels as I think I looked at that one in Gulfport MS before he sold it. (possibly) and that one is a 2000 model. If you fiind another 01 GTT please let me know, as I have tons of parts for that car that they may be interested in. The parts will probably fit the others as well though. I hope there are others in the country, hell I hope the skyline population increases, that way we will at least have something that can keep up with these things racing , (just kidding)

Re: Fs R34 Skyline Rb25det Neo Full Setup Fs

as of now the engine will be sold complete so someone can have an easy swap into oa 240, so the sensors will have to stay with it. I think I have the setup sold to a guy in MO. However it is still for sale as of now.

Does anyone know where I can get the computer program for a laptop to map a D-Jetro Apexi power FC for the RB26 also a base map file with upgrades similar to mine, 1000CC injectors, up to 25psi boost no MAF sensors or something close to that

Re: Fs R34 Skyline Rb25det Neo Full Setup Fs

Correction, they are rated at 276Hp from the factory for both the RB25DET NEO and the RB26DETT. 280 figure is actually POWER STROKE, which the Japanese use as their power unit. ie 280PS = 276Hp = 206Kw
