glove box removal

how do i get the glovebox out of my malibu

pretty gravey!!

Open the GB, thiers 5 screws around the perimiter.
One on each side, three at the top if I'm not misstaken.

Pull it toward you carefully and unplug the wires for the GB light.

98, right?
You may notice when you go to do this that there aren't any screws. This is normal. There are two spring loaded pins at the bottom and back of the box that sit in little holes in the dash. You can push the glove box kind of to one side and free them one at a time, or you can push them towards each other if you have really small hands. Also, don't worry about the light as it is not attached to the box.

I forgot the Malibu had those clips...

Heres a pic of the malibu glove box.
Yello arrow indicates tabs to push in.
