Somebody race me.

I want to race an acura. In south Dakota not too many people drive hondas with turbos. Here the only people i can race are hard core musle cars which i kill anyway. Right now with my stage 4 turbo and frontmount intercooler. I am running about 419 horsepower. Thats about what my gtech thing says no dyno runs. power to weight ratio is awesome. IF anybody lives in minnesota please let me know. I am going through there this weekend for a college visit and i want to race somebody if you are willing.

well...unfortunately for you...g-techs are worthless and yours is giving you ridiculously exaggerated numbers...and if you're car is so formidable...get your ass on the track and see what you're car can really do instead of driving around the country looking for rice-puppies to pick on.

i'm curious...with all of your modifications what did you use to properly tune your car? since you haven't been to the dyno...

Its good to see mommy and daddy have lots of money to help you work on that car of yours. I wonder if my parents gave me 10 grand for a nice turbo kit and an engine build if i would go around trying to race kids out on the street because it makes me look like a badass. hmm, no, hell no. Those gtechs are you a joke, you must be pushin at least 600 horses with that right?

and sorry but we dont have a track anywhere near where i live. I drove like 3 hours to go to a track for an hour. I ran 12.7@114mph. my first and only time on the track. I ran it in full street trim with 17s. The only thing i did was take the subs out of the trunk. So again its cool that you think my parents bought all my shit but they didnt. I am only 17 years old for 3 years i have driven a 89 nissan pickup and have been working 2 jobs and still in school to afford my car. However my mom did buy my car for me. but that was for my birthday. Within a week it haf a body kit rims and had an engine from a dodge stratus in my garage being rebuilt with new pistons and rods and everything else to strenthen the bottom end so it can handle all the boost. So it about a month i had the HRC stage 4 turbo kit on order from HRC. Then waited a month for it to come in. Put the engine in and installed the turbo tuned it right with my uncles knowledge and had it running safely at 9lbs a boost for daily driver. So if you want to be a d*ck go ahead no skin off my ass.

I wasn't trying to be an a*s. I'm just about your age, and i work a lot to get money for my car. All i'm saying is i know, that being 16, you dont have 15,000 for a car plus 8,000 in mods, and if you do have that much money, and you earn it all yourself, you definitly dont have time to install it all. If my mom paid for my car, i'd probably happily race you at the track, but instead i have to pay every penny for my car, and fidning extra cash for mods is hard. So be grateful you got a car for your birthday, i got a torque wrench.

Thats cool man. However the car was only 5900 which is cheap for a 98 neon dohc and a 5 speed. And your right the mods are expensive. The turbo and intercooler was i think 4900 because i got a deal. I was supposed to get the stage 3 but after like a week they told me that is went under redevelopment or something so he just upgraded the turbo to the stage 4. ANd that came with everything new rods and everything. Which was awesome saved me like 1500 bucks. The engine was cheap it came from the junkyard. I got it for 200 because the guy didnt put any oil in the engine so it seized up. But after extensive rebuliding and grinding and sanding and whatnot it became 12 second motor. i work alot trust me. I work at kmart as an overnight stocker for 9.50 an hour 56 hours a week. thats from 10-6am and i work at a music store wher i sell guitars and whatnot at 6.50 an hour from 2-8 30 some hours a week. Plus i get 15% commission from everything i sell. plus i am a senior in high school and i go to school from 10-1:40 for 3 classes.. So i really have a hard week...I am out
Peace

So the biblical scholars mis-translated the Hebrew word for "young woman" into the Greek word for "virgin," which was a pretty easy mistake to make, since there is only a subtle difference in the spelling. But back then it was the "virgin" that caught people's attention. It's not every day a virgin conceives and bears a son. So you keep that for a couple of hundred years, and the nexy thing you know, you have the Roman Catholic church.

just so you know...i've spent the past 2 months helping build a DOHC neon...naturally aspirated. Spent $800 on the car...and about $5,000 on modifications...should see a dyno within the next couple weeks...I'll post the dyno charts. Also...to explain how ridiculous your HP estimates are...my buddy who owns a naturally aspirated Neon has posted a track time of 11.9 (not sure what speed)...and was in the top 10 of the Nopi Drag Series for most of the season...and he's pushing no more than 260 HP.

Yea, you should definately get to the dyno, that sounds quite a bit off. What was your 60' like when you ran mid 12s?

My engine was perfect for N/A i could have easily went with those NA but i decided to go forced induction. Then engine is a 2.4 from a dodge stratus, not the regular 2.0 dohc from a neon. Without the turbo i could have easily ran mid 13s-14s. Where i live there isnt a dyno anywhere near here that i know of. Or else you could bet your bottom dollar that i would be there. Like i said I ran 12s in full street trim and on 17s and it was also my first time drag racing with at a real track. With a little practice and some extensive weight reduction and maybe get some slicks i really dont have any idea what i could run. I bet low 12s maybe high 11s.
