A true hero...

I saw in the newspaper the other day a story that was really awesome. Everytime you look in the newspaper all you see is who died, what got robbed, whose getting screwed. Well the other day in the newspaper there was a story that I thought was worth sharing with you all. There was a guy with his two children standing out front of a train station. As they were standing there a train begain to come into the station. At that moment a stranger beside them started to have a seizure. The stranger then fell over and onto the train tracks. The man standing there with his two children told his kids to stay put and leaped onto the tracks. He dove on top of the guy haveing a seizure between the train tracks and covered him. The incoming train drove right over top of them without hitting them. There is a 2 foot something gap between the bottom of the train and the bottom of the tracks.

Wow that's amazing, you don't really see many good deeds like that anymore.

Re: A true hero...

You should try to find an online version of this article if it is available, I wouldn't mind reading it. Good story.

I have suddenly regained hope for mankind. People don't realise that you don't have to do something big to change something. Even the smallest things can have the largest impacts, but this man is a hero for being so selfless. Good story.

Damn, talking about taking a risk. I never would've guess there was that much clearance between the train and ground.

Of course, they do it in the movies all the time. lol

That is indeed a good story. More people need to be willing to take risks like that.
