Can anyone help with my 3 series problem?

Hi

I have a BMW 320i (2000). Recently as the weather has got worse it seems to struggle to start (however it's always does).

Then it seems to stall when ever I stop or tap the brake and the pick up is very sluggish (until it warms up and then everything is fine)

Any ideas what may be the Problem??

Thanks

Sounds like the ignition and the transmission. If it has around 100K miles, then you may want to consider changing the transmission fluid (if its an automatic) and that might help, but Im no mechanic so Im not sure what to say.
