HELP! lossing all my water!
when i go to fill up my radiator with water everything is fine while running, but when i turn off the car all my water pours out! it looks to be pouring out by the belt. what is wrong? pls help

Gi ven the location, that would have to be either the water pump, w/p gasket or lower hose.

found out today that it is the water pump. im getting charged 170 for parts and labor and to change the belt. resonable?

That sounds reasonable to me, just ask if they are going to be adding new antifreeze and if the water pump is new or remanufactured. If they're giving you a new pump and fresh coolant, I'd say you got a good deal.

Very good deal.
I was quoted anywhere from $300 to $700 for a water pump. I finally bought my own and had a shop put it in for $190. |

I got the water pump replaced on my 91 pa when I had to get the front cover taken off for the timing chain and camshaft sensor magnet. They were in there anyway so I got it done preemptively.
Now the crankshaft sensor is loose and thats a $150 job |
