Question car won't start

My 89 grand prix rolls over but won't start. There is no spark coming from any of the coil packs. I have replaced the crankshaft sensor and the ecm. Still no spark. I'm at a dead end. I was told to try and hot wire it incase it is my ignition. please any help would be appreciated. It' my only transpertation.

Re: car won't start

Sounds like an ignition module to me. It's the piece all the coils bolt to. If you have an Advance/Auto-Zone in your area, they can test the module for free. Make sure they run the test enough times to get the module hot, as they can fail when warmed up. If not that, then it's a problem with the wire that goes from the crank sensor to the module. It runs under the engine and can get snagged, pinched or caught in the engine if the front motor mount goes bad and the engine jumps around.

Re: car won't start

OK... I looked into it, and I made a mistake.... it was the ignition modual I replaced not the ecm. So.....Thank you and I will check out that wire......any other hints on how to check it would be great.
