2002 Dodge Ram alarm lock???

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram....nothing works, no lights, no power, won't turn over but a red light is lit on the dash. Owners manual only tells me what it is but doesn't tell me what to do about it.

How do I disengage the alarm if in fact that is what it is. I've tried the remote but it does nothing...doesn't even unlock the doors.

try locking and unlocking either door from the outside with the key, if it does not work possibly the ctm may be a faulty. Is you batteries in the remote ok??
