Engine Management Light And Main bulbs

Hello people. I have a couple of proplems i was hoping i can get some advise on.

First of all i have bought some new hbulbs that are brighter as my old ones are not bright enought. I would like some instructions of how to change these over as i do not have a manual and do not want to damage anything. Im not very good with DIY with cars.

Second of all i have an intermittant problem with the engine management light which when appears flash's about six times preventing me from starting the car. I have to take the key out wait a second or two then put the keys back on and car starts fine. This only happens now and then.

The car is a Vauxhall Corsa Club 16v (2001-y/reg)
