WIP - Shelby Cobra 427 S/C

I'm working on this car for review which I promised to one friend.
It's old revell molding from '88. it need many cleaning of molding lines and pin marks but it's looking nice.
So far I started my work on chassis and engine.
Photo isn't so fine this time.

Body is painted with base auto color and it's ready for decals.

Looks very promising. That blue is always gorgeous on these Cobras. I always wanted to build one of these. Looking forward to nice finished pics.

Nice work on the paint. Cobras look sweet in blue. I really like these cars so fast, sound so mean. KEep the pics coming!

oooh! Memory lane! My first build on AF

This is classic car and the kit is pretty good (wheels are a PITA though)

Looking forward to seeing what you do with this

Wow great subject Zeljko. I like so much. Those V8're one of the best music in GT4, at least when I had time

Why a PITA Steve? Mine have some wheel that are no bad, but is the reboxed stuff.

Gio, on my Revell kit it was impossible to fit the wheels in place properly. In the end they had to be fixed permanently with CA glue

Re: WIP - Shelby Cobra 427 S/C

I had one of these kits in my hand the other day and put it down. I always wanted one. Blue is the perfect color too. Are you going with the white racing stripe or solid blue? Keep those pics coming.

I agree with the blue, always makes for a beautiful Cobra. I was also wondering about the white stripes, but there they are! I love the way this is coming along.

You cannot go wrong with blue and white racing stripes.

Re: WIP - Shelby Cobra 427 S/C

I striped chrome from wheels and painted it with Alclad. I put flocking in interior and seat belts.
First photo is little off, because I made it late at night.
