Toyota grabs third place in U.S. auto market
Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. bumped DaimlerChrysler to grab third place in the U.S. auto market in 2006, while Ford Motor Co. saw its total sales slip under the 3 million unit mark. U.S. auto sales dropped 2.6 percent in 2006 to just under 16.
