clutch pressure problems
Recently i have discovered that my clutch has no pressure ( seriously just flops black when I press it). I thought it was a leak in fluids because the resivor slowly empties over about a two day radius. The funny thing I never can seem to find the leak. I have a 96 firebird with the slave cylinder hidden in the metal sheath of the transmission. What can I do and what is the problem.

Re: clutch pressure problems
Sounds like you know what it could be. I would bet its the slave cylinder. Mine went out and did not leak because the fluid was in the bell housing of the tranny.

Re: clutch pressure problems
I would think it would be the pressure plate. But if the clutch can be applied with out problem form neutral to gear, then............
