Window relay problem?

I have a '95 Lumina APV and the windows stopped woking. They worked fine the other day and now they do not work at all. Neither the driver side nor passenger side window will roll down.

Is it the motor relay?

If so, where is this relay?

Thanks,

Lydokane

Here is the schematic diagram

The breaker is in the convenience center below glove compartment

you can swap neighbouring breaker for test
..in photo, power window breaker is missing...reason for that is I have reconneceted the window circuit to the power accessories breaker just beside because this one is HOT at all times...meaning I don't need the ignition key to run the windows....alleviating a major annoyance.

Re: Window relay problem?

Here's a similar problem & fix for my lumina: lost the passenger window control- followed by the drivers window , then the door lock switch on the drivers side- intermittantly the car shuts off & the battery goes dead fast-
this also messes with the guages (lack of power in system) .
the cause- found 5 wires broken between the drivers door & cab in the rubber boot. to check yours: 1st- unhook the battery- if there is a loose wire you may have a fire if you don't do this- on the door end of the boot, pull it out of the door to expose the wires. gently pull on each one out of the boot to see if they are still attached. if any pull out that is bad, but you found the problem. To get a the wired, you must unbolt the emergency brake petal & hood release. Unhook evey connection in the door & pull the harness into the area under the dash far enough to butt splice them. them reassemble. good luck.
The reason this drains the battery is that the large hot & ground occasionally short together, however , the window hot is shut off when you turn the key off making it disappear during a normal load test. Also as soon as you open the door the wires move and change the problem.
