Talking stock b16a2 + turbo + ethanol is a good idea???

hi i am from brazil, and i have a 93 civic VTI, these car came with a b16a2 motor, i am planing to go turbo, and i need some tips....

the compression is gona be to high to run a very low octane gas i think that in my country is about 85 or less.....
i dont want to much boost maybe 6 or 7 psi
how much power i will have with 6psi???
but also in my contry i have the possibility to use ethanol (alcool),maybe it will be beter to run with turbo and my compression....

second... i will have to buy all parts and then go to a shop and do the instalation.... i am not a mechanic so i dont know what i will have to buy... i made these list, but maybe is somthing missing....

i will need the turbo T3, fmu, bov,wastgate, intercooler???,injectors???
vafc???,turbo timer????,boost controler???(what these does)....

i realy dont have to much money to spent.....
somthing like 1000 dolars....
but in my contry i can buy a new T3 turbo with 200 dolars....

tks....

sorry my english is terrible, im starting to pratice..... : )

ok dude...first...i think you might run into some problems running only 85 or less octane gas with much boost at all, but you may be able to lower your risk of detonation with some good ignition components and maybe a MSD digital ignition system. I don't think that the alcohol would be a good idea on a non-internally upgraded motor. second, the t3 turbo you get will probably be internally wastegated. for that low of a psi, internally wastegated is somewhat more efficient. also, you need to worry about whether you are going to use an adapter plate to your current exhaust manifold or if you are going to use a turbo manifold. you're also going to need a check valve or something called the Missing Link to get rid of the boost that your MAP sensor sees. you'll also need a downpipe, and larger exhaust hopefully, boost and egt gauges. you'll also need the various charge piping. Try to save your money until you have all of these, then you will have a much more reliable set-up...doing it cheap will make it unreliable and you can blow your engine...that costs money a lot of us don't have or want to spend. if you have any more questions, you can drop me an email at [email protected]...good luck.

hy tks...
the idea of alcool is based that in my contry people use stock 1.6 and 2.0
volkswagen and chevrolet gasoline motors with 1.5 to 1.8 bars with alcool and run fine..... but they have to run with 30% more fuel...
i think that the best choice for me is use a T3 internal wastgate, inline fuel pump, dsm injector with ressistor box, and a vafc, so i will can do some fuel tunning.... i have read about and people seys that is bether than use a fmu....

i know that hondata will be a best choice but i cant afford with 1200 dolars to buy a full system......

the exaust an the charge pipes is easy to do here... : )

i know that i will need a air/fuel gouge.... but these will work with my stock o2 sensor or i will have to buy another like a wide band ( also wide price)????

tks.....

still sorry about my english....

1000 bucks is a pretty tight budget if you're looking to buy a complete turbo kit, even used. if you're doing vafc hack, you don't need the inline fuel pump, to cut costs, if you're only running low boost(6-7) i have seen people run stock pumps with 10 psi and no problems. but honestly, i don't think it can be done with 1000 dollars, but your country has different parts with diff. prices, but in the states, thats pretty hard.
