Headlights?

Hey guys, I am kind of new with this, but hey...my friend told me about this site and said it would help me out. So, here is my question. I am (hopefully) going to be getting a 98 or 99 Audi A4 soon (turbo and quattro, in case you guys needed to know this). I found a couple of head lights and tail lights on eBay, and I was wondering if they were decent or not. Here are the links:

For the headlights:

Tail Lights:

So what do you guys think?

Also, what are some common troubles that you guys have with your A4?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Headlights?

Well let’s see.

No (Black units look 100 times better but crap light output)
No

Def No
Sort of OK

Euro E-Codes headlights are regarded as the best for the A4 but there are a couple of ok units out there that are ok. The rear lights have only two rears that most regarded as alright one on my car and tinted black units but most prefer stock.

Re: Headlights?

Ok, so neither of those are any good then? I liked the 2nd pair of tail lights better anyways, but you don't think the head lights are any good? Why do you say that? Because they don't look cool? Or because of bad quality?

Alright then. But just out of curiosity, where can I get the headlights you reccommended? Is that in UK and Europe only (I am only saying that because it appears that you are in Europe/UK)..

Yeah they look nice, but those one's don't fit the 1998 A4, it says 1999.5-2001 or something. Is that price of $355 for just 1 side? Or for the pair?

Re: Headlights?

You only need to trim the inner lip of the wing for them to fit and yes I'm in the UK.

Ok then I am sure I am able to do that then.

What I may end up doing is prolly just getting some good Halogens/HID's (prolly the Sylvania SilverStars) and getting the cover for my headlights that you got.
