Re: Cd player problem

When I had my Cavalier, I thought I was having the cd player "professionally" installed. I don't know what they did, but the cd player was constantly blowing the fuse to my dome light. I went back and rewired the whole thing myself and didn't have another problem. I suggest using a harness as well

Re: Cd player problem

i have the ground wire in and i can't get a adapter pug because my gf decided in all her wisdom to cut the wires to short on the plug to the original player.

Re: Cd player problem

I bought the $15 adapter kit and everything just worked like a charm, except that my CD player doesn't recognize when i turn my car on, so i had to take one of those wires and attach it to the fuse box....
