Front passenger tumble seat not tumbling

You know how theres that strap on the front passenger seat that you can pull and it'll lean forward and then the base of the whole chair kinda moves forward? Well mine doesnt do that anymore. The chair leans, but the base doesnt move unless I push the bar myself, and I'm tired of it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Re: Front passenger tumble seat not tumbling

Although I've never had to do it, sounds like the connection inside the seat has come undone. You should be able to reach up into the seatback to reach it, at best.

Re: Front passenger tumble seat not tumbling

There are a couple of levers,& a cable that is supposed to release the seat adjuster, usually it is the cable breaking inside the seat that causes this,The part isn't expensive, but it's a pain to put in. Martola
