99 silverado balljoints

I am getting ready to replace some lower balljoints in a 99 4X4 do I need to have a press to replace them?

Need a press? Well you should. It can be done without. Sometimes in a time crunch I wont bother getting the press out, but you had better be damn good aim with the hammer.
