Brand of Oil Filter
I have a 2004 Alero 2.2L. I am needing to change my oil. I was wondering what brand of oil filter you recommend. I will have to order online so if you can provide a link that would really be apprecative. I have found this type not sure if this is the one.

Re: Brand of Oil Filter
Welcome to AF.
I recommend staying with the AC Delco brand oil filter on your 2.2L Ecotec. Unlike a standard oil filter than you can spin off/on like on most engines, you have a special cartridge style oil filter located in the engine block. It is located on the driver's side of the block approximately 8" down towards the front of block towards the radiator. You'll see a round housing with a plastic cap with 5 sides. You will need a big wrench or socket to remove the cap. It is around 1.25" in size.
