Re: HELP..Inline fuel filter on Plymouth Fury 111???

Yes, your car has an in-line fuel filter, or at least it should. The filter is mounted between the outlet of the fuel pump and the carburetor. Now you didn't say what engine you have, but that shouldn't matter that much. The fuel pump should be an engine mounted, mechanical unit, so it should be under the hood. First, find the fuel pump under the hood. Then find the steel line from the output side of the pump and follow it towards the carburetor. Or you can locate the fuel line into the carburetor and follow it back to the fuel pump. Either way, you should find the fuel filter. Now, I am assuming that your car is factory stock and not altered from that configuration. If you car has been extremely modified, what I said may not be true. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Their should be a sock filter on the sending unit in the gas tank for your fuel gage.
Do you have a problem or you just doing maintenance?
