Micro Mesh question
Hey guys i just bought a 16.00 detail master polishing set. It comes with 6 sheets starting with 3200 up to 12,000. My question is how do you clean the abrasive sheets? Would you use water or alcohol to clean the gunk off? By gunk i mean the sanding dust that gets clogged in the paper. Also typically how long or how many car bodies of 1/24 scale can these sheets be used on before they are wear out?
Thx for the help |

Re: Micro Mesh question
Used properly, you will not need to clean them as they will never get paint buildup in them.
Here's a list of threads on using them and wetsanding: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ght=micro+mesh http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ght=micro+mesh http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ght=micro+mesh http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ht=wet+sanding http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ight=micromesh http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ight=micromesh http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ight=micromesh http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ight=micromesh http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ight=micromesh I am sure you could find more info if you adjust the search parameters beyond those I used.
